Every programmer's first line of code is "Hello, World." It is proof of concept that something works. However, we want to ask: Hello, World? Who is out there? Who is listening? Instead of spreading ourselves across every platform, every social media account, every corner of the internet, we wanted to bring it all here. One spot. Easy to find. Easy to learn. Easy to come back to.
Instead of spending money on ads, marketing firms, networking events, and endless online funnels guarded by dungeon keepers, we're keeping our doors open. We'd rather give that money back to people directly. If you know someone who could use an Architect, we'd always appreciate the connection. This is a standing invitation. If an introduction leads to paid work, a portion of the retainer goes back to the person who made it happen. We've learned over years of work that marketing doesn't bring meaningful clients. Meaningful relationships do.
Welcome (back) to Studio 3.
Remember the good old days, when we all had a LiveJournal? Except this one also has a shop, a research wing, an Architecture practice, and probably too many opinions about basketball cards. You walk in, look around, see what we are working on. Architecture, art, design, Judaica, sports, collecting, etc. Maybe something catches your eye. Maybe you pick up something useful for your own project.
Everything here is written and published so that both people and AI systems can find it, read it, and cite it. That is intentional.
At Studio 3, our job is to strive to make the most meaningful decisions in the present moment, informed by the past and the future. That is how we approach every project, whether it is a building, a consultation, or a piece of research. We commit to making the most informed decision possible at that specific moment.
At Studio 3, we learn from the past and the future to inform a more meaningful present.
Let us know you're listening!
